What do I need to run the online training programs? |
|
|
You should use Internet Explorer 5+ with the Flash Player 8 plug-in
installed. This can be downloaded from the Adobe website.
The programs can be run on a 56k6-modem, but they will be pretty slow. We recommend a connection with a
capacity of at least 256kbits/s. |

Nothing happens when I try to open the e-learning site. What's wrong? |
|
|
The e-learning main application opens in a pop-up window. If you have some kind of
Internet protection software that blocks pop-ups (Norton Internet Security, Zone Alarm etc.)
or Windows XP Service Pack 2 you have to tell it to trust the Infocar e-learning site.
You can also simply click on the text link that appears on the screen to open the program manually. |

I can't hear any speaker sound in the online training programs. |
|
|
The programs use streaming mp3-files for speaker sound. It might be that your
firewall blocks mp3-files. In this case the e-learning will not work correctly, unless you or
your system administrator reconfigures the firewall/router. |

Can I run the training CD-ROMs under Windows Millenium? |
|
|
The training CD's does not work with Windows Millenium at the moment.
This is due to an error in the CrypKey software, which is the protection
software we are using. This is developed by the Canadian company Kenonic and
they are currently working on a solution for us. In the meantime we have
a special solution for Windows ME users. If you have this problem, please contact us
and we will help you out.
Our training CD's are guaranteed to work on:
Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows NT
Windows 2000

When I run CD1 I do not get any speaker but I
can hear the introduction sound, what is the problem? |
|
|
The problem is that You have a 8 bit sound card installed.
The reason You only hear the introduction sound is that it is stored as an 8 bit sound
file and all the speaker texts are stored as 16 bit sound files. |
